- Perform[cb]
Here at Clickbooth, we love to celebrate. Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, marriage, or a company wide goal, we are dedicated when it comes time to supporting each other. The commitment to THINKING BIGGER can be found in all aspects of our culture and Field Day is no different. This annual event gives the CB Family the chance to enjoy time together, flex our muscles and give back to a charity that we admire!
In March, during a fully loaded work week, the nine teams compete during Spirit Week by dressing up for five days of fun: Jersey Shore Day, Toga Day, 50’s Day, Clickbooth Pride Day and finally, Team Spirit Day! Each team works to gain points for creativity and themed challenges. With every moment, anticipation builds for Field Day. Make no mistake, here in sunny Sarasota, we have assembled a world-class team filled with passion, enthusiasm and courage. Everyone is ready to show their strengths!
Considering we live in the SUNSHINE state, one would expect sunny days and light breezes to enjoy our day outdoors. What we got? 100% chance of rain!!! So what did we do? We set up shop at a local cheerleading gym, Dynasty Elite (thanks Jimmy)! Upon arrival, teams got together to talk strategy, eat some snacks and enjoy a cold brew. From there, it was game time!
The first round of events included many Field Day favorites; Potato Sack Race, 3-Legged Race, Balloon Squeeze, a Donut Eating Contest, Musical Chairs and of course, Tug-O-War! The positivity and enthusiasm were running high by the time teams began the Quarter Finals Relay! Four teams battled through a variety of games like Two-in-a-Tube, Waiter Run, Hopscotch, Tire Football and Corn Hole Toss!
Semifinals included traditional games of Hula Hoop, Leapfrog, Wheelbarrow Race, Balance Beam and one of our favorites, Girl’s Night, where a female player must dress up a male teammate in makeup and women’s clothing! Take a look below at the courageous men of Clickbooth!
With $2,500 towards a charity of the team’s choice on the line, the Championship began with another company favorite, Dizzy Bat! Followed up with a tire course, some rubber chickens thrown into giant pants, and a few targeted shots with a Nerf gun, the two finalists finished Field Day strong by sinking a beer pong ball, drinking the beer and crossing the line to victory!
Congratulations to the Black and Blue Crew for their tenacity and generous donation to K9s for Warriors, an outstanding organization dedicated to providing service canines to our warriors suffering from post-traumatic stress and/or traumatic brain injury as a result of military service post 9/11.
